USC Hospitality provides a wide range of services at more than 40 venues situated throughout the University Park and Health Sciences campuses.

Meal Plans and Residential Dining

The dining program offers a wide range of options and venues to ensure that your experience is an enjoyable one. If you are assigned to a building with a mandatory meal plan, you will be automatically enrolled in the appropriate plan or may, in certain cases, be able to select an optional upgrade. Regardless of where you live, all students are able to purchase a meal plan. Students not required to participate in a meal plan based on their residence location may choose to purchase the “Community 25” or the “Community 50” meal plan.

Kosher Foods

Kosher entrées are available at Seeds Marketplace through advance registration for meal plan holders. The SChalom Floor, located in the Parkside Apartments complex, facilitates kosher cooking in residents’ kitchens, and the Hillel Jewish Center offers Friday evening Sabbath and holiday meals, including Passover. Additionally, the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, located in the School of Cinematic Arts complex, is kosher certified and offers a variety of kosher items.

I’m sending this note because I am A LOT annoyed that my daughter, whom I pay $60,000.00
a year to attend your school, cannot find any nourishment or caffeine on campus 45 minutes before a USC final. What’s up with that? Community colleges have cafes open before finals to satisfy their students. May seem trivial to you…..but…why would you close down campus facilities which should be open to help students if finals are still on at this hour. Think maybe finals should be scheduled earlier when things are open. Let’s look at this subject and, perhaps,
have some positive change! I’m not a helicopter parent…….just pissed.

Please forward this on to anyone who cares. I await a response.

Thanks for your inquiry. I would suggest you contact the administrative offices of Campus Hospitality, 740-6285, or go to for the hours of all the coffee shops on campus. Also, Ground Zero, per their Website is open until midnight and I’ve heard students recommend their coffee.
