What is suspicious behavior?
Signs and behaviors that may be suspicious:
- a person running as if chased
- a person carrying a locked bicycle
- a person going door to door in an office building or a residential area
- a person being forced into a vehicle
- a person forcibly entering a locked vehicle
- business transactions conducted from a vehicle near schools or parks
- persons sitting in a parked car closely scanning the area around them
- unusual noises, including gunshots, screaming or sounds of fighting
Report suspicious behavior to DPS at (213) 740-4321 (UPC) or (323) 442-1000 (HSC). If you are away from campus, call 911. For more information, go here.
